In the Essene tradition, the arched cross represents Enoch, the first man to rise from the Fall. He is the one loved by God Himself. God looked upon Enoch and loved him. The entire Essene tradition stems from Enoch, this master, this incredible man who rose from the Fall and went to God to serve Him.
